1. leaving Florence
2. tomato juice and sketchbook on the first lufthansa flight
3. beef stroganoff for dinner on the second lufthansa flight
4. noodles for breakfast before landing in HK... they were pretty gross.
So i arrived in HK without any major preoccupations, am now settled into the student residence halls and waiting for classes to start.. 7 million people live in this city, all crowded into many many tall skyscrapers, which don't look like skyscrapers in the rest of the world that I've seen, but look like giant, compacted ant hills, or the pillars of the Matrix.
